Fromm’s A461 is a pneumatic steel strapping tool and is largely used with ¾” to 1 ¼” strapping. It can be operated single handedly and applies an upcut double notch joint. A unique feature of this tool is that it has a safety mechanism that prevents defective seal joints, which can happen due to a faculty execution by the tool operator. The A461 is a strong tool and can pull a tension of about 1900 pounds. It is available with a suspension bracket and a spring loaded balancer as this would apt for the weight of the tool.
